Retreats held at St. Joseph's
Baulkham Hills
2010:
You are Invited to Enjoy a Reflective Cuppa with Blessed Mary MacKillop
July 11th - 18th
Directors: Sue and Leo Kane
This guided retreat aims to help participants explore quietly and reflectively what Mary has to say to us in our lives each day. She will both
affirm and challenge us. With her
encouragement we can learn: To grow
into the people God calls us to be, to
delight in the Loving Presence of a
God who cannot stop loving us, to live the words of St Irenaeus: “The glory of
God is me fully alive.”
'I Have Heard the Cry of My People': Searching for Compassion and Justice in the 21st Century
July 11th - 18th
Director: Jan Barnett rsj
Participants in this retreat will be
invited to explore questions around
justice spirituality and attentiveness to
the cry of God’s people in a runaway
world. How are we to live the paradox
of a poor and powerless God in our
lives today?.
Journey To Hope
October 10th - 17th
Director: Colleen O'Sullivan rsj
Grief and sorrow are a significant
part of the human experience. In this
guided retreat we walk with Christ
who is present to our grief and who
leads us forward through hope to joy.
Behold, I make things new. Rev 21:5
October 10th - 17th
Directors: Josephine Mitchell rsj; Susan Connolly rsj
A six-day guided retreat which
invites participants into awareness
of right relationships. It provides
an opportunity to reflect on current
issues in the light of Scripture and
life experience, and to contemplate the mystery of resurrection,
transformation and hopes.
2011:
