This retreat offers participants a chance to reflect on their own lives in the light of the witness of Jesus’ own faith experience and mission. Retreat sessions will explore Jesus’ ‘roots’ in the spirituality of the Anawim and its ‘fruits’ in both his Abba-relationship and his Spirit-led mission to fill the hungry with all the “good things of our God”and the rich with knowledge of the “true emptiness.” [cf Frank Andersen’s Magnificat, Evening Canticle”] The retreat will conducted in a context of prayerful silence. Retreat sessions will sometimes include times for communal as well as personal reflection and prayer. Please bring your bible.
