Answering the Call of Pope Francis: Let’s Become Pilgrims of Hope

Guided by Ann Morrison rsj

“Everyone knows what it is to hope,” said Pope Francis. “In the heart of each person, hope dwells as the desire and expectation of good things to come, despite our not knowing what the future may bring.” This 2-day retreat provides space and time to allow a climate of change to emerge through exploring how our lives can be lived more vibrantly through reverence, truth, beauty and goodness. Times of silence will be weaved through this time. Would be helpful to bring along a journal.
Pope Francis, in his letter (Letter of the Holy Father 11 February 2022) reminds us: “In the realization that all of us are pilgrims on this earth, which the Lord has charged us to till and keep (cf. Gen 2:15), may we never fail, in the course of our sojourn, to contemplate the beauty of creation and care for our common home.” During these two days we will explore creative ways of living reverently in our world.
